None. When the slider was set between 50 and 70 percent, the Skullcandy Crusher 2014 long-lasting AA battery provided up to 38 hours (average of three measurements) of continuous playback. If you turn the slider to zero, the battery life will last much longer than if you turn it to maximum bass. However, the sound quality does not significantly deteriorate once the battery is depleted. The rest of the frequency response remains unaffected, but the boosted bass effects are eliminated completely.
The Skullcandy Crusher 2014 excels as a basic pair of headphones in terms of design. The all-black design of my review device matches its reasonable price, despite its all-plastic construction. Except for a few discrete chrome accents, there isn’t much flair here, and I’m fine with that.
