FFA members qualify for the American FFA Degree:
Have earned a Greenhand, Chapter, and State FFA degree.
At least three years of membership in the FFA. Have completed at least three years (540 hours) of high school agriculture courses, American FFA Degree Qualifications or two years (360 hours) of college agriculture courses and one year of high school agriculture. Have completed their high school education one year prior to the National FFA Convention, where they will receive their degree.
Have kept thorough SAE records that show great planning, management, and financial skills.
Through their SAEs, have earned and invested at least $7,500 or have earned and invested at least $1,500 and worked 2,250 hours beyond their scheduled school hours.
Have a track record of excellent leadership abilities.
Maintain a track record of community service activities.
Have a grade point average of at least C.
